Journey from Hamburg to Copenhagen central station. From here you can take the
bus (Bornholmer Bus) or the express train to Ystad / South Sweden. There you can
catch the ferry (Færgen) to Rønne/Bornholm. It takes 2,5 h with the common ferry
and 1 h 20 min with the express ferry. Destination Rønne Bornholms capital.
Near of the harbour you will find car- and bicycle rental services and also bus
connections to destinations all over the island.
Throughout the whole year at least 3 regular flights take of from copenhagen to
Rønne / Bornholm. Early booking is necessary (at least 4 weeks befor journey) and
you´ll have advantages in regard to the price.
You can get rental cars direkt at the Rønne airport.(Early booking is also necessary).
The most cheapest trip is the journey via the island Rügen.
Take the highway A20 till exit ´Sassnitz´ (Rügen). Along the motorway B96 till
Sassnitz Harbour (Neu Mukran). It´s all signposted!
Ferries accordinig to time table (Færgen). It takes 3 h 30 min to Rønne/Bornholm.
Transit through Danmark is another possibility. Take the ferry from Puttgarden (Island Fehmarn / Germany) to Rødby Harbour (Danmark). On the highway destination Copehangen.
There are two options to continue the trip!
1. Take the ferry from Copenhagen/Køge till Rønne.
-Along the motorway exit Køge. The harbour is singposted. Ferry to Rønne/Bornholm (Færgen).
2. Go ahead on the motorway till Ystad (Sweden).
-Malmö / Sweden (signposted) along Øresundbridge.
On the motorway destination Ystad - Harbour / Sweden.
